Uru Uses Computer Vision to Revolutionize Video Advertising

[JOHAN ADAMI] Can we identify the surfaces
inside of this video and fill them with brand presence? The answer is not only ‘yes’ but ‘yes’ and
it looks great and feels amazing. [BILL MARINO] Our software will automatically
find the surfaces inside that video whether it’s a wall behind you or a t-shirt, then
we automatically impose the advertisement on it making it as if it’s really part of
the video. Smack dab in the middle of the fun. Right in the sweet spot. Intimate, but never obtrusive or annoying. [ADAMI] Cornell Tech brought us together which
is what got the idea started. [BRUNNO ATTORRE] Cornell Tech has one of the
best faculty in the whole country. They gave us early advisement that helped us get this
far and we’re extremely grateful. [MARINO] It’s a product focused curriculum
here and that helped us think about ‘what do users really want out of this technology?’ We’re monetizing a whole new real estate. It really is revolutionary.
