Top 10 As Seen On TV Products That Were Surprisingly Awesome

What they try to sell you on TV can’t
all be crap, can it? Welcome to WatchMojo.com, and today we’re counting down our picks, for the “Top 10 As Seen On TV Products That Were Surprisingly Awesome”. For this list, we’re looking at those “As Seen On TV”
products that amazed everyone, with how useful they were,
how much bang they gave you for your buck, or just how cool and surprisingly innovative they were. Perfect for crafty and creative children, the “Fun Loom” bracelet kit, comes with six hundred (600)
different colored silicone bands, that you weave together, in order to create original and personal bracelets. While it may take some getting used to, as does any artsy project, the bracelet making kit is a blast,
once you get the hang of it. Why? Well isn’t watching your own creation
come to life in front of your eyes, always incredibly satisfying? Just don’t be surprised, if your child
wants you to make one for him or her, while he or she watches TV. While “Arrested Development”
and may have invented the “MayonEgg”… the “Ped Egg” is something else entirely, and far more practical, it scrapes calluses off the bottom
of your feet, and leaves them smooth and sexy. That’s right, it’s a surprisingly effective tool
for relieving the annoying callous problem, and leaves your feet softer than a baby’s. The dead
flakes fall off effortlessly, and after a quick go with the polishing tool, you’re left with healthy younger-looking skin, the “Ped Egg”, gross but effective. While pasta may not be the
hardest meal in the world to prepare, it could definitely be made easier, and the amazing and inventive
“Pasta Boat” proves this. You simply put the dry pasta in the boat, fill it with water and pop it in the microwave. It even comes with a built-in strainer, so you don’t have to go rummaging
around like a damn fool trying to find one. It’s extremely stress-free, there is
little clean up afterwards, and it actually makes great ready to eat pasta. It’s a life changer. Who doesn’t love a baked potato? Why you’d probably eat them all the time, if they didn’t take like 45 of your
all too precious minutes. Well not to sound like an infomercial, but this handy little product has you covered. You simply put a room temperature potato
into a bag of pure science, and throw it in the microwave. Boom! Instant potato! It’s such a
convenient product and so easy to use, it would be a crime
not to include it on this list. It’s perfect for the lazy and the busy alike, and produces great tasting potatoes every time. While most of us love the summer, the season also comes
with its unfortunate downsides, we’re looking at you mosquitoes. Fortunately for those of us,
who don’t enjoy bugs with their burgers, the “Magic Mesh Screen Door” is a perfect product. It’s simply a piece of mesh fitted to a doorway, that you can easily enter and exit from, due to its magnetized closing ability. It’s the perfect solution for patio lunches, or four just generally keeping bugs out of your house,
while you enjoy the breeze, and best of all, it actually works. Great for pets too! Products that can do generally anything
will always get praised, so it comes as no surprise
that the “Mighty Putty Purple”, has been satisfying customers for years. The product is simply a piece of putty, that you can bend and form to your choosing in order to hold items in place. Temporarily fix appliances, patch up walls,
or even plug holes to prevent leaks. While it’s not meant to be a permanent solution, there’s no denying that the “Mighty Putty
Purple” is perfect for that quick fix, due to its vast array of uses and simple
application. We get it, if professional furniture movers, would be embarrassed to be caught
using an “As Seen On TV” product, but this
thing is so darn handy, that we couldn’t fault them at all, if they did. All you do, is place the nifty little
tool underneath your piece of furniture, and suddenly you’re pushing and
pulling couches around the room, like you’re Hercules himself. It’s so easy to use,
that anyone can use it, and it drastically simplifies a tedious
and exhausting chore. What’s not to love? Anything that makes food
easier to cook, is a winner in our books. It’s a little more expensive than the
other items on this list, as it always happens hovers around a $150 dollars, but this product is more than worth the money. It’s a “rotisserie”. Did you guess that? But it’s of such outstanding quality, that it beats all the competition. The ovens build quality is firm… it looks clean and effective, and it cooks food to perfection every time. Throw a chicken in here, and microwave a potato with the “Potato
Express” and you’re good to go. Ron Popeil strikes again! Are you always flipping your pillow,
during the night to sleep on the cool side? Well with the “Chillow”, you won’t have to do that. As the product keeps you cool, and gives a positive sleeping experience
every night. While the setup is admittedly, a bit laborious, the results
are more than worth the trouble. As the original comfort device, stays cool throughout the night, and lets you sleep in comfort. You can even use it to bring comfort, to other body parts,
when you’re not sleeping, as a cold compress, Making the
“Chillow” a refreshing, multitasking wonder. Before we unveil our number one pick, here are some honorable mentions. Pet hair can be
a huge nuisance in the house, especially when it sticks
to the furniture and your clothes. However, the “Sticky Buddy” is such an
amazing product, that these annoying hairs will no longer be an issue. While regular lint rollers may remove
some hair, they’re nothing compared to the “Sticky Buddy”, which acts as a lint roller,
but does so much more. Praised by virtually everyone who uses it, this is an absolute essential for those
of you with pets, or for those of you who just like their
clothes and furniture to be squeaky clean. Do you agree with our list? What “As Seen On TV” products do you

100 thoughts on “Top 10 As Seen On TV Products That Were Surprisingly Awesome

  1. The fun loom is awful! Those little bands get everywhere and make me want to pull my hair out picking them up.

  2. Take a potato, poke a couple holes in it, wrap in a wet papertowel, microwave for 5 mins. 2 mins extra and I didn't waste money.

    Tbh; this list is shite.

  3. My wife and I would get each other As Seen On TV stuff as gag gifts for Christmas and the one that we still use is the Ov Glove. The garlic mincer was good but it broke too easily.

  4. I disagree with #7 because you can save money
By just poking holes with a fork with a potato
    Boom saved money

  5. The only product on this list that I have ever owned was #1 Sticky Buddy. It was crap. I use lint rollers. It does not pick up as well as lint rollers and it does not clean as well as it shows on the commercial. I have a product similar to the pasta cooker that was made by Pampered chef. It worked pretty well. I used it for a long time until I lost the lid.

  6. My mom taught me about cooking pasta in the microwave about 25 yrs ago. She learned about it from a professional chef. It really is a life changer.

  7. How is oxyclesn not on here? It is probably the single most successful “as seen on TV” products there is. I mean you still see it in so many other products now

  8. The pasta maker? You can take any big plastic bowl that is microwave safe, put the pasta in it, fill it will water and microwave for 18 minutes for perfect pasta everytime. I had one of those pasta makers that was better than the ad one, it had a strainer attached. I quit using it because it was an extra thing to clean, any bowl is good.

  9. You're smoking crack, the Sticky Buddy is frickin worthless junk. I have 4 cats, my mother bought me one of those stupid things, nope.. Yeah, they're not environmentally friendly, but I'll stick to the 3M rollers with sticky paper that you pull off.

  10. you're assholes, you need to do better research on the products, most of these products are not worth the money and it's been proven. idiots

  11. You can't really "set it and forget it" cause the instructions that come with the oven state that you should monitor the oven at all times, which prevents you from simply setting and forgetting it. Also, anything you cook in it always came out dry as a bone.

  12. I used to make looms on my fingers and it would sometimew cut off my fuckin circulation but having a stupid braclet at the end made it all worth it

  13. My oven takes over an hour for potatoes, but I just get the ones at Walmart that are designed to be put in the oven, only take 8 minutes and still taste as good as oven fresh

  14. the pasta bowl is a mess an unenscessary, the potatoe bag does not work at all the potatoes come are smash and wet not like aregular ove. The putty is a muchy mess the screen kind of works but is ugly I had it in my trailer and was embarresed to have that junk hanging from my door . Not as seen on tv are mostly stupid and scams that the most just fairly works and that just some of them

  15. Hollywood Pants have to be one of my best buys. I'm not even much of a leggings wearer, but those are fab. So comfy and flattering.

  16. The mesh screen is great!!! I have parrots and they are not permitted in the kitchen, Especially while I’m cooking I’m too afraid they might land on a hot pot. I have the mesh screen in the doorway between my kitchen and dining room and they can’t get through

  17. WTF? Just poke the potatoe with a fork and nuke it for a few minutes in the microwave..you dont need a bag. If you feel better wrap it in plastic wrap.

  18. magic mesh has 3 downsides.
    1. Can't use it with a metal door
    2. can't carry anything through it easy
    3. hits your door and makes you jump out of bed on a windy night.

  19. They forgot the crank chop. I got one of these just recently and while it's not as good as an electric processor, I think it does a pretty decent job. Just don't overload it. Those blades are wicked sharp. Perfect if you don't have room for a bigger unit, or you're just cooking for three or less people.😁😁

  20. The Potato Express microwave cooker doesn't work at all it is garbage and I hate it it made my microwave explode not in the way that would hurt our house but in a way that made our microwave stopped working

  21. Flex seal???
I had a serious problem with leaks in my garage from a heavy rain. I bought 2-3 spray cans of flex seal and sprayed damaged areas of shingles, and now no more leaking roof.

  22. Check other websites for reviews of all these products before buying.
Mighty Putty Purple is two-part epoxy putty that has been available in hardware and auto parts stores for decades. Support your local businesses.
The original, unpowered, Ped Egg works good, but finding refills on stores is nearly impossible. I have to go online.

  23. The last thing the magnet mesh screen is is "good for pets". You can still buy these things, but if you've got a dog of any age or temperament, you'll get two weeks out of it. I recommend burning it instead of trashing it on the curb. At least it's pretty to watch.

  24. I love the broken coffee mug handle…. she’s clearly picking it up by the broken part of the mug not by the mighty putty 😂

  25. I had the magic mesh, and the magnets kept falling off. It was especially hard to put it up in the first place, as it came with thumbtacks to secure the sides. It was more trouble than it was worth.

  26. The chillow was a good idea, but the inner foam piece kept bunching up on one side, and it was a hassle to get it to flatten out inside the cover. It would have been better if it had smaller sections that would anchor the inner foam parts.
