The evolving Facebook Ads platform – The Good, The Bad & The Tip

The Good this week is Facebook Ads. It’s also the reason why this video reaches
YOU every week. Hopefully. If not, Facebook has been evolving their ads platform
to enable ‘anyone’ to create a page and run ads. That ‘Boost’ button next to every post lets
you pick a couple of simple settings and spend $10 or $20 on getting
your publication out there. Too many startups or small business cannot
afford an agency and need to do things on their own. On the other hand Facebook’s ‘pro’ ads section,
the Power Editor, has a truly remarkable engine. Most people don’t know this, but Facebook
lets advertisers target people by their religion, the device they use to navigate Facebook,
whether they are online shoppers, recent engagements or breakups, and even your household income. Yeah, Facebook knows all that about YOU which
we could say it’s pretty bad for you? but, definitely not for businesses trying to sell you. For the Tip, let’s take a look
at this fantastic app called Brain.fm. It’s a mobile app that plays I wanna say music but probably more like ambient
sounds; designed to help you Focus, Relax and even Sleep. I use it every night to sleep and do believe
I wake up more rested when it’s been on. The Focus Track is the closest thing I’ve
know to being wired in. Oh, he’s wired in We’ll see you next week!
