da-da-da-da-da-da-da hey everybody what’s fine what was that noise hey everybody is that that kind of a life I’ve always had the noise what’s going on here look we decided to go explore the netherworld yeah people who turn to it and emili´s to me Charlie yeah I don’t believe that I really like to you everyone knows that another portal attract mobs we wouldn’t be doing if we know it was only going to save II don’t know what those yummy chimichangas no no no no I won’t buy into this last thing you told me some bees were great housemates and then I ended up hanging my entire housewarming with monsters no way real time look how about you go in the netherworld and if something bad happens to you then we’ll go rescue you yeah and you can have all our diamond supplies Oh see yeah everything is going to be fine hmm I gotta think about this all right all right all right I’m trusting you guys hey guys it looks pretty scary down here no no no it’s alright just continue walking straight until you find some glowing stones okay okay I got this I got this hey guys I found some glowstone but it’s kind of far I’m gonna go around and see if there’s another path to reach it oh my gosh there’s a lot of Pigman guys I need help guys guys pick up the potatoes I need help no man you’re good just keep running towards the glowstone they’ll take you straight to the chimichangas it’s harder sauce safe once again persuade me into doing something wrong Oh well that was an adventure those guys were being very persuasive up to the point where they persuaded me or convinced me to go to the netherworld where unfortunately I met my demise how about we go back and see what type of techniques they used in order to convince me the first one they used is clean let’s take a look okay so in this first scene our friend Emilio is making a claim about me being able to become incredibly rich we can say he is trying to appeal to my greedy emotions therefore we can consider this as a pathos persuasive technique which is when the author or speaker tries to appeal to the reader using a variety of emotions everyone knows that another portal attract mobs we wouldn’t be doing if we know it was only going to City in this other scene our friend Ally games States his reason of already knowing that nether portals attract monsters he explains that why we built a portal just to mess things up this technique can also be called Ethel’s which is anytime an author or speaker tries to appeal with outside knowledge in this case LA Games knew that it is an Isetta truth of how nether portals attract monsters which is not his knowledge but knowledge from outside probably from Google a hard one to beat as evidence now we have Emilio trying once again to persuade me but this time with evidence he says a little Ricky from York village went to the nether world and made it back alive this technique of persuasion can be called logos which is whenever an author or speaker tries to appeal to the reader using facts and other statistics that’s all right though because I had my counterclaim as well no no no no I won’t buy into this last time you told me some B’s were great house maids and then I ended up hanging my entire house warming with monsters no way in this last scene I tried opposing or going against what they were saying by making a counterclaim a counterclaim is when your statement is different from that what speaker or the author is saying unfortunately my world crumbled against the relentless bakery just like these Rascals authors to use persuasive techniques now it’s your turn to analyze the text and figure out what type of techniques they used good luck
