hey how’s it going in this video we’re
gonna talk about the Facebook ad algorithm and how to really keep up with
it it’s always changing and it’ll throw off our results and then we’ll have to
figure it out again and then we’ll crush it again and then they’ll change again
but don’t worry I spend millions of dollars every single year on Facebook
ads so I bring all of the correct proven knowledge to you here on this channel so

back I want to talk about the big ad changes that are happening and how
they’re gonna affect your ads so people have been going crazy lately because
number one Facebook is you know under fire right now for data leakage and
whatnot people were able to target too well in facebook ads that’s kind of how
I look at it and people were starting to just realize that Facebook sells data to
advertisers which they’ve been doing for a long time and their their income
sheets have shown that right making billions of dollars and all that good
stuff with advertising duh they sell their data ok well now that we all know
that what’s happening what are they changing and how is it going to affect
your ads so someone had posted this in one of our groups here this article
about Facebook will no longer show audience reach estimates for custom
audiences simply because long story short when you upload a custom audience
from email or you have a custom audience that you know is maybe all males except
maybe one female you can then upload that but thousand-person custom audience
and then only target females and then boom you know you’re only targeting one
person right or you can do the same thing with email you’re targeting all
these people then you put in these certain demographics and you can kind of
dwindle down and figure out what each person actually you know demographics of
small amounts of people as low as like you know one or two people and you can
read more about it here but essentially what Facebook
doing now is they’re saying we’re gonna show potential reach unavailable so what
does this mean for your ads well if you’ve been doing Facebook ads for a
while you know that Facebook changes things every single day so I’m not too
worried about this I’ve had so many people come up to me and say what do you
think about the future of Facebook what’s gonna happen to our ads I don’t
think anything’s gonna change it’s still their number one way of making money so
they’re not gonna kill your ads they’re just gonna try to protect the user more
and I know I can see they’re doing updates this week inside of ads manager
personally I hate that they changed it to one ads manager and not power editor
as well but that’s you know how that’s the life we live right we’re building on
top of Facebook’s ad engine so we got to be prepared for the changes now what can
you do here to make sure that you are continuing to see great results and it
really comes back down to the same answer I always give make sure you’re
continuing to take shots make sure that your load up loading new ads every
single day so whatever changes it doesn’t matter what’s great about
changes is a lot of people are gonna say Oh Facebook screwed me Facebook changed
up the algorithm now my ads don’t work so boom 10% of Facebook advertisers they
quit they stop they go to Google ads or whatever and that’s great because what
has happened in the last year or so is things like e-commerce drop shipping
have become so popular that so many new entrants have come in that it’s been
getting kind of competitive now I personally like competition but what
happens when it gets too competitive there’s a big bubble and in any market
it’s gonna have this huge boom of people coming in making a ton of money and now
we’re kind of in the days where it’s a little harder and people are starting to
dwindle off there are so many advertisers I’ve run into there like I
stopped running ads because Facebook’s screwed me and if you look at it that
way you’ll never really win in this game so my recommendation is to continue
testing products continue testing angles different videos there’s tons of new
video services coming out I’ll show you later use a drill to test
as many different videos audiences types of coffee as possible because no matter
what your your CPA is right now whatever your cost per purchase or your cost per
lead is right now I guarantee if you try 10 more different angles of coffee or
ten different videos or 10 different look-alike audiences you will be able to
continue to dwindle down your costs and at the same time if your dwindling down
your costs while you’re working on your average order value you are gonna be
good to go so now I want to jump in and show you me launching this product on
add Cho because I am a huge believer in launching testing three four or five
products per day because you never know what’s gonna win and you’re gonna get so
many aha moments from just testing different products doing different
research making videos and all that good stuff so these are like some snaps

below on what exactly add chill does essentially it helps you automate and
scale your ads everything that we’ve done in the last few years with Facebook
Ads has been put into add chill to automate it every little time-consuming
thing and you’ll be able to see it here because this process I’m about to show
you used to take me an hour and a half to do now it takes me like three minutes
so let’s jump right into it the first thing we want to do is we want to get
some images because we want to make videos I am the biggest believer in
videos if you’re not using video you need to be and you can use a free video
tool like add chill that’s just one piece of add chill but we can just go
ahead and take these images and just try to portray this product with some images
it will be a slideshow video but what’s great about it is after we make a video
we can then target people who watch part of the video so they become really good
custom audiences so that’s the first step right there let’s make them take
the screenshots let’s go ahead and upload those screenshots so we can make
this video so I’m gonna select those four
first we’re constantly pushing new updates to add show so everything that
takes time in facebook ads we’re implementing into ad show so you can
spend more time on other parts of the business and then your ads work for you

is just a test as rapidly as possible I’m gonna hit refresh here we want to
make the video we want to make the post and then we want to do the targeting so
let’s go ahead and pick my page and you can see it’s already selected the video
you can also upload your own video here how do you spell declutter to tease boom
just like that save and now this is getting uploaded to my ad account so now
all I have to do is launch this product now ad show has a really good place to
find interest which is really great right here you can see all of these
interests and I have both headphones all of these you can add them here and then
what’s cool is it goes through via the API and it looks for different audience
interests based off of their affinity score so just go ahead and make yourself
a folder I think I probably already have a folder that matches up to this let me
just go ahead and look through these okay yeah I’ve got one that’s four mics
but I will probably be really good for this actually because those are computer
people so I’m just gonna pick a campaign I already know that’s pointing towards
my pixel I’m gonna call this new campaign let’s call it add chill tangle
and then call it March because it’s March let’s do three dollar Adsense
really low low and I forgot to name the post I want to name it entangle click
Save and boom and now we’re gonna pick five interest because I like to start
with small budgets I’m gonna use this Mike one and let’s pick microphone let’s
see if we have some other ones I’ve got so many interests here now and there’s
neat because you’ll end up targeting a lot of the same interest because it’s a
lot of the same people now if you want to add some more interest for any reason
let’s say I want to type in Mac Book I’ll just go like that
Mac Book and it’s watch this so I add it there and then on the main page you can
see boom it’s right here Mac Book and what’s cool is it will show me all of
these other ones so like iPod mini MacBook family and MacBook Air I’m gonna
do all of those I’m gonna add them to a Mac folder because these are gonna be
good to target and what Joe’s gonna do is it’s gonna take one of these ads this
I’ll select one of them and create a new campaign targeting that new page post so
I’m testing this new product just like that and let’s see if I can find that
Mac one here those were some good interests so now I have three interest I
want to get a couple more just pick microphone and recording and then now I
have five interests $3 apiece going to this new campaign and boom just like
that I tested a new product tomorrow I would have spent fifteen bucks and I
would know how many clicks what’s the cost per click what’s the cost for Add
to Cart and then I would start scaling it if it does
well and how do i scale it I start doing up sells like crazy upsell upsell down
south down so and so on and so on so that’s that hope you had a great time on

and combine them your results are not going to be as great as your competitors
and we both know every single day ads are getting more expensive and more
competitive and the prices are not going to go down with the surge of marketers
just flocking the Facebook ads because of the endless amounts of data
it’s just simple supply and demand right more marketers that the ad costs are
gonna go up right so as more marketers come in and they want to advertise on
Facebook the prices will continue to go up making it harder for you to acquire
customers clients users purchasers whatever for the price that you want now
how do you find that perfect creative copy and
audience so you see results that you’ve never seen before and it’s simple the
same exact way that anybody who is great at anything does it they put in their
10,000 hours they test they practice they practice they practice you know
Edison we all know that he failed a thousand times before he created the
light bulb but guess what he made 999 tests tweaking testing and
refining his formula before he created light bulb and we all know Wayne Gretzky
you know you miss 100% of the shots you never take and that’s so true
and doesn’t it hold kind of the same for testing different images or different
videos if I test one image or video am I gonna see as good a results if as if I
test 10 or 20 probably not if I test 20 I’m gonna see a couple huge winners I’m
gonna see a lot of losers but I’m gonna take those winners and combine them with
other elements and if I never would have tested those 20 different videos then I
would have never seen those results in Michael Jordan you know one of the best
basketball players ever he said I’ve failed over and over and
over again in my life and that is why I succeed and it’s so true
look we all know that words sell if you test one type of copy but you don’t go
on and test 10 20 30 you’re not gonna find which words really relate to your
audience but if you sit there even if you’re not a good copywriter if you sit
there and you write 10 20 30 different types of copy you launch them to your
ads one of them is gonna stand out maybe two three are gonna stand out they’re
gonna really relate to your audience and you’re gonna keep rolling with those
boom you just doubled your conversions now whatever you think of Kobe Bryant
you have to respect his his sickening work ethic this is just a little quote
he says you wake up at 3 you train at 4 4 2 6 come home eat breakfast relax now
you’re back at it and 9 to 11 relax back at it again from 2 to 4 now you’re back
at it from 7 to 9 by year 5 and 6 it doesn’t matter what kind of work they do
during the summer they will never ever catch up and that is so true if I am
competing with you and every single day I’m testing 10 20 different look-alike
audiences you know I scale the winners kill the
losers every single day I do that and I know that you’re sitting in there
testing maybe 5 10 per week or per month what’s gonna happen I’m gonna find so
many audiences I’m gonna crush it right so if
you sit down and you test audience after audience after audience and you just
have a sick work ethic and just do it over and over again you’re gonna find so
many profitable audiences and you combine them with your new creative and
your new copy you absolutely crush it right that’s how it works if you test
more you find more winners right the more you shoot the more you score it
right now you might be asking yourself but how do I test all of these ad
combinations every single day I only have so much time right we have like 956
other things so doing our business we can’t just sit inside of facebook ads
all day switching things out making new tests duplicating fiddling with facebook
ads right so let me introduce ad show to you ad show is an ad crushing machine

select these countries and make one through seven percent look like

want to turn them off with one button okay I want to see all my winners I want
to scale them up you know by 10 percent 20 percent or individually or hey I want
to take some of these winners and launch a new look like ads based off of them
pretty awesome right you can see how much time you’re gonna save in every
single morning now if you’re in the manual bidding same thing I can see say
hey hey let me see all of my winners and then I can manual bid on them click
click I want to increase the bid here I want to lower the baby air you know I
want to turn this one on I want to turn this one off across multiple campaigns
across multiple accounts at the same exact time but what about new campaigns
maybe new products new services whatever I need to find some new audiences well
instead of going over to audience insights or stocking your competitors
customers pages to see what their interests are how about typing into add
show one interest and add chill goes and finds hundreds of high affinity
extremely targeted interest that you can just simply add to a folder save it
forever and your yoga folder or whatever and then launch a new ads to them over
and over again and see which ones have the best cost per click over time which
ones have the best click-through rate over time and you build these folders of
different interests that you can target over and over again and then you make
different selections of those interests and you add chill spits out more
interests they were like those interests so it’s a you know it’s an interest
building machine it’s pretty awesome right so then you can take those 10
interests or a hundred or a thousand and create tens or hundreds of ads
like that schedule them over time so you don’t spend too much money kill the
losers and scale the winners atcha also makes it super easy to build out ads or
page posts whether that’s dark posts or on your page instead of fiddling with
Facebook you can just create your you know video or image ad right inside of
AD show then save it to a folder and take it and apply it to other ads so
maybe you have five different look-alike audience there that are doing really
well you want to test them against five new page post with new copy on them
right you want to see what resonates and you go click click boom 25 new ads
schedule them over a couple days five ten bucks apiece
scale the winners kill the losers so isn’t that pretty awesome like want to
take those look like audiences that you just created and then apply them to
brand new page posts where you have brand new copy maybe hitting a different
angle to see if it resonates with your you know your client now if your Shopify
user I understand not everybody is but we also released an app they’ll allow
you to do the whole process of testing a new product you know find in Aliexpress
putting it on your store and then creating the video and creating the ad
campaign targeting different interests and launching the ads that process used
