Creator Sessions: Straight to the Source – View In 2 | YouTube Advertisers

STEPHANIE WENDELIN: Hi. I’m Steph, and this is
View In 2 Creator Sessions. JOSH SINEL: We wanted
to create a space where this content was really raw,
and authentic, and real. KATI MORTON: I’m a
licensed therapist, and so I have an educational
mental health channel. AUSTIN EVANS: I had been
a YouTube content creator, specifically around the
tech space, since 2009. JOSH SINEL: Brands have to
look at creators a little bit differently. KATI MORTON: I like to see
brand deals not as a one-off, but more of a
relationship together. AUSTIN EVANS: So if I can
get access to a project before it’s even available,
that can make a big difference. I didn’t even have a camera. I was literally doing
like app reviews in screenshots and stuff. JOSH SINEL: We looked
around at the media that we saw all these
young people consuming, and we saw a lot of
sugar-coated stuff. KATI MORTON: Because
we’re in our apartments– we’re not over-produced videos– you feel really connected. STEPHANIE WENDELIN:
Thank you so much. Thank you so much
for joining us. Thank you so much for coming. And thank you for watching
this creator session. [MUSIC PLAYING]

  1. Good stuff! I uploaded my first video 11 years ago on the Capen The Camera Guy channel… it's private for how cringe it is haha.
