  2. Have an old-fashioned fridge just like this, wouldn't go so far as to hug it, but I'd be loathe to lose it, keeps my old-fashioned glass bottled sodas cold. It's like a chilly time-warp in there.

  3. Hm… A boy, friends with a fridge….. At his own house……

    Johnny Johnny?
    Yes papa.
    Relationships with fridge?
    No Papa.
    Telling Lies.?

  5. For the last time. THE FRIDGE IS NOT DABBING.THIS SHORT WAS MADE IN 2013. THE DAB DIDN’T EXIST BACK THEN!

  6. A basic description of this story:
It is common for people in this world to take hostage a living being, tear it apart, and either eat or drink it’s inards. They will then put it back together, waiting for their next meal. One day this brainwashed hostage becomes insufficient, believing that it will be replaced by a newer, more efficient hostage. It runs away, seeing all of the hostages that are newer and more sufficient for sale. It sees the corpse of a hostage his type, and get’s afraid, dropping the ice it produces from it’s head. His master notices this, and looks for it. The hostage finds itself in the graveyard for any type of insufficient hostage. Then, it’s master appears. It’s master says he was only trying to repair him. And the everything goes back to normal. The hostage remains brainwashed and powerless, with it’s master towering over it.

  7. Brilliant short film this is! 😃👏
To me, the music score sounds like it has a Randy Newman feel to it. 😍🎹🎺🎷🎻🎵🎶🎼

  8. Oh, human is friends with fridge, but does the fridge spit out my icecream? Because i'm not putting my hand in his mouth or eyeballs just to even get it.

  9. It told a concise “appliances are sentient” story of sadness and reunion faster than Brave Little Toaster. Bravo.

  10. overall, that was quite fun to watch….
when the handle broke and the guy said "I knew this day would come"
I thought : uh-oh, Chillie will be send "to a farm upstate north" lol
now there are some things that bothered me a bit …
0:45 who would pay $1,800 (eight teen hundred!!) dollars for a f***ing fridge ?
1:08 once the fridge unplugged itself, it should have been dead, instead of walking around the city
1:43 new fridges being cruel or borderline racist towards their ancestors
3:13 hard to beleive that a company like "Joe's" still sale spare parts for 1950's appliances

  11. 1:05 boy notices fridge is gone

    NOOOO CHILLIE!!!!

Me: I would be upset too but this is too much….. I care about food and all but not all of it is refrigerated
