AdWords tutorial from Google – Step 3a: Use the Search Network with Display Select campaign type

If you want the simplest way to reach the
most people interested in your products or services, then you’ll want to show your
AdWords ads to the largest potential audience using the Search Network with Display Select
campaign type. With this campaign type, your ads can reach
people searching for your products or services, as well as those browsing websites with content
related to what you offer. With the Search Network with Display Select
campaign type, your ads can show on the Google Search Network, and also selectively on the
Google Display Network Let’s quickly review these networks.
On the Google Search Network, your text ad can show on Google and on non-Google search
partner sites like AOL, when people search for products and services like yours, so they’re
more likely to be interested in just what you offer and click your ad. For example, if you have compact cameras as
a keyword, your ad could show next to search results when someone searches on Google or
on a search partner site for that phrase. With the Google Display Network, your ads
are automatically matched to websites and other placements (like mobile phone apps)
that show AdWords ads related to the content on the page. For example, if you have compact cameras as
a keyword, your ad could show on a blog about digital cameras. Ready to create your Search Network with Display
Select campaign? Here’s how: Sign in to your AdWords account and click
the Campaigns tab. Click the new Campaign button and choose Search
Network with Display Select from the dropdown. Now give your campaign a name. Next you’ll
need to choose your campaign subtype. Let’s go over the most common options.
If you’re a newer advertiser, or you just want to get your campaign set up quickly without
a lot of additional options, choose the Standard campaign subtype.
If you want to take advantage of additional AdWords features, like creating rich media
ads or targeting your ads to specific sites or pages about specific topics, then use the
All features subtype. Great! Now you’re ready to choose the rest
of your campaign settings! Next we’ll cover how to choose the geographic
locations where you want your ads to show to potential customers. Click the button to
continue.

  2. what about choosing "video" for advertising your youtube video on google and youtube only? all 3 steps a b and c dont give me an option for this

  3. i have a buissness and a website which provides coworking space and incubation centre for startups and small buissness which add type i must select so that i can reach right audience?

  4. I believe I have the newer set up for Google Ad Words, is there a similar video series to walk me through this with the newer platform?

  5. Hello there!, congrats for the video. I will run my first campaign on google adwords (Not the express), however my interface does not look like the one you are showing in this video, I am assuming this is because I have not run any campaign yet, is this possible?

  6. I'm part of a google grant adwords program, how can I get to this view. All I have is Adwords dashboard and adwords analytics

  7. Are there any new videos on how to use Google Ads via Google Grant I have been approved for? The screen I see in these tutorial videos is different the actual log in screen I see. So they step by step guide is not helping too much with the older videos. Thanks in advance for your help.

  8. None of these images match Adwords! What happened to adwords? I've used it for years and now I can't understand how to create even the most basic ads. Worse, there is NO resource on the internet to teach you the most simple basic functions. Do I have to take a class? I don't have the time. I want to call, but you are closed on weekends. 🙁

  9. Is just me who is annoyed by the difference in sound between the music intro and woman's voice? I have to tweak the sound almost on every video!

  10. 1:36 You are in a "Google Adwords" site, but when I log in, the top title says "Google Ads" and not "Google Adwords", what am I doing wrong?
